    Hi Im reaching out to find anyone that new my mum,she was on citizen radio in 70s and80s,then got her ham radio licence call sign G1HLQ

    I see from QRZ.com that your Mum was Bracknell based, so was I through 70's/80's using the CB handle of Pony Express
    Do you know your Mum's CB handle as I have a note book full of contacts!

    Ah yes, Little Mo not sure if we ever met but definitely spoke to her on the radio, my wife said Little Mo even before reading second your post!
    Do you know if she ever went to the CB club in Binfield?
    I used to drive lorries for a living.
    I was also a short wave listener at the time so may even have heard her on amateur radio one she was first licenced.

    Cant say for sure that she went to binfield club but very possible as stones throw from where we lived.We were all involved as a family in the 70s and use to meet up and do fox hunts,was great fun at the time

    The BBA used to meet at the Bridge, still have my membership card.
    The club in Binfield Hall was the BBC in the days after CB27/81 when it became legal.
    Are you involved with radio now?

    I still have my membership card to,my handle was beanbag,as thats what I wanted for Christmas,lol.No I never continued using Cb once it was legalised as it wasnt the same,My mum became radio ham ,as I remember coming home from school and our house was full of men in suits taking all her equipment away.

    My mum had a big set up on CB,radio was a big Maddison system and my dad (silver fox)put up a big 40foot beam antenna that had a motor to rotate it,she would talk to people all over the world.
    This is what Im trying to find,when my mum contacted people she would send them a card,I would love to see one of her cards as for some reason we dont have a one.
    I have recently lost my mum and all these great memories are coming flooding back
