    Default Hi from Utah

Hi all! I am a fairly new ham. I goy my technician license in Summer of 2019. I started with a Baofeng UV-5R, just listening mostly and then picked up a Yaesu FT-70DR which I have used mostly for local repeaters.

Definitely interested in General Class / Extra, just not sure how I would work in a decent antenna.

Welcome! I work the repeaters with a UV-5R to this day. It works well for me when portable. Hf Antennas can definitely be a little tricky on smaller city lots or in apartments, BUT, there are options out there for smaller antennas that perform fairly well for their size. What type of restrictions and limitations do you have?

I am not my brain injury.
    This does not define me.
