Just wanting to make sure I'm not completely wasting my time. I have a elecraft kx3 and this is what I want to do. I plan on making a window pass through using wood. I'll have 16 feet of coax going from radio to coax barrel connector which will connect to a ldg RBA- 4:1 Balun. From there I'll have a long wore probably around 58' long coming out of second story window and tied off to a pole roughly 12' in air.
Should I use counterpoise or ground wire as well?
