    Default Building a Tilt-Tower

    Hello everyone,

I have just recently joined the Forum and now getting back into Ham Radio after several years of being off the air. I am in the process of setting up a new station from scratch and one of my first projects is getting a good tower set up. Years ago I built a all aluminum tower, hinged at the base so that it could be lowered for servicing and maintenance of the antennas. I have designed a new "Tilt-Tower Base" that I will add to the Aluminum tower so that it will be much safer and very easy to lower and raise the tower. I will make several videos showing the construction from the raw materials to the completed unit and post them on my WA5DX Youtube channel. I am attaching a video of Part-01. If you have any questions please let me know.

    Hello everyone,

Worked in the shop on the Tilt-Tower Base today and got a good amount of work completed. I have uploaded another video, Part-02, of the project showing the work completed to date.
