Eleoption BP-209 7.2v DC 1650mAh battery for IC-V82 handheld (this is the identifier [BP-209] and the current rating [1650mAh] listed on the replacement battery). This goes completely counter to the model number/current originally assigned by Icom (where BP-209 meant an 1100mAh battery, and as a result, less charge time on the BC-146 charger). So far I seem to be getting ambiguous answers from the seller, seemingly working through translation (telling me that they are compatable, but nothing much by way of current, or charge time, for that matter). Would trickle-charging this battery for 18.5 hrs (like a genuine 1650mAh SHOULD be) invite an overcharge explosion, or anything?
