    Default Guy pole?

My mast is 25' ground up, clamped to the eave at 10'. I can guy it with rope to the east and west, but don't want to guy to the north down to the ground so wondering about a guy pole to my roof to the south. Being a rigid pole, it would hold north to south. Trying to figure out what to use for that pole. Suggestions?

For clarification, my east west ropes will be 180 apart and the south is 90 to those. I do not have the luxury of three ropes at 120.

    Hi OM Joe,

Your idea to use a push-brace pole on the south side is feasible. A brace of the same material as the mast would do. A clamp at the foot of the mast would also help.
