    Default Amplifiers

    As being new ,Iím courious about amplifiers a fit all application meaning they work regardless what meter or channel your using or do they make amplifiers for pacific meters ?

    amps do have specific ranges... Hf do the HF bands, most US non-export HF amps have a mod available for them to work on 10 Meters.
    VHF and UHF amps typically work only their band. "Channels" do not exist in amateur radio.

    Iíve noticed some have a dial with different bands and some have just settings for Am Fm SSb, could you explain the differences

    Except in the US 60 meter allocation. There you best be mindful of where you put your rf precisely.
