Thread: Philippine operating

    Default Philippine operating

So I have my USA extra class license. I want to operate here in the Philippines. What is the simplest way to (legally) do it? Also, if wanted to take the plunge and get a Philippine call, are there study guides in English? Is there a description of the exam elements someplace. Are the exams in English? Is the exam location handicap accessible? Yeah a lot of questions but I need to know. AF2RF thanks

It took me all of 20 seconds to Google: https://www.para.org.ph/getting-a-callsign.html

This is a question for Philippine authorities, not USA.

The Philippines have a reciprocal operating agreement with the United States.

Since you're already in the PI, why not contact PARA (Philippine Amateur Radio Association) directly?
