    Default HamFest Software

I have recently taken over as our clubs HamFest Coordinator - and am looking for some tools to help out with the planning and management. It seems that a logging application like N3FJP, HRD, CQRLog would be ideal as it already has the core in place - to search the database for the call, and return name, address and etc.

Is there any currently available software for this - or is it something not available yet?

    Thank you.

What was your predecessor using? No sense in reinventing the wheel.

Management software such as Microsoft Office or OpenOffice are excellent tools. Excel is worthy of your consideration.

Pen/pencil and Paper... and some Excel.

Yes,.. Excel is a good application. It's what I used last year. but with logging software being what it is,.. there has got to be a better tool than just Excel and such. Granted it's up to the individual to keep his contact information updated with FCC,.. so the call DB isn't 100% - but pulling from that would be 1000x faster then manually typing in all that information by hand - ever year. And there are no 'checks' for errors,
