Default Working on a QSL card design, thoughts please

I've had a friend work on a QSL card design for me but she's not had a chance to finish it off. I've been using some software for it and this is what I've come up with so far:

The blanked out part is my name and address.

All I want to do is to move the operator and radio over to the right and up a bit to clear the mic cable from the details box and I've got space in the top right to write the recipients callsign for bureau sorting.

I'd like opinions of this as a design. I like it, do you think it works and would it put a smile on your face to receive it?

/edit - I'm not sure that DXCC number is correct, I'm finding conflicting info. I also see England's DXCC number as 138. Anyone got a link to a definitive list?

Nice one, - I think hand drawn QSL cards are so much nicer than just a photograph.

    Swap "England" for your county.

How about a nice tangle of wires with SWR meter, linear, etc?

(The ARRL lists G-land as DXCC entity 223, it's their award after all)

    I like it as well.
DXCC# is a bit superfluous though, WAB square may be a more useful alternative?

I already had the county as part of my address and I agree about DXCC and WAB. I'm not interested in WAB at all but it can't hurt to be there.

I'd lose the "DXCC Number". If someone is working on DXCC, he should realize that England is England. I got my 298th entity confirmed about 3 months ago and none of my received cards indicate a "DXCC Number".

I've never had a QSL card for Ham Radio, although I have thought about it some.

But with a computer and a graphics program like Page-maker or Print-shop, you can definitely DIY.

Love the layout for all the QSO information, it doesn't intrude on the general theme of your photograph.

Thanks... Figure I live close enough to the Gulf of Mexico, and Florida is know for ocean based everything so it seemed the easiest theme.
