How much power can I run PSK31 on my Icom IC-725 before I damage it? I am using no external amplifier.

Is there any safe amount of time to run full power and if so what is it.

I ran the full 100 watts at times without any heating or reports of garbled signals, but something tells me I'm doing it wrong.

Any help would be very appreciated. ]]>

How to use digital modes on IC-725 https://hamradioforum.net/threads/8933-How-to-use-digital-modes-on-IC-725?goto=newpost Sun, 19 May 2019 17:39:35 GMT I have an Icom IC-725 and I have been able to use it to listen to digital modes by connecting the "phones" output to the line in on my PC. However, I am unsure how to transmit on these modes using this radio. Will I have to purchase a rig to sound card interface such as the "Rig Blaster" or the "Signalink" or is there a work around?

If I do indeed require an interface, how would I use it to connect my PC to the radio. And if I don't what is the method?

What is the difference between the Signalink and the Rigblaster?

I predominately wish to use the PSK31 mode.

Any help would be very appreciated. ]]>

More recently on my SDR (and other online SDR radios), I am unable to pick up this signal, although I did occasionally pick up some distorted voice. Has the service been moved to another frequency, or has it completely disappeared?

For that matter, is SSTV still being used anywhere else? ]]>
