    Default Baofeng uv-3r won't turn off

    Just wondering if anyone else has run into this. I just got a baofeng dual band ht and the thing is always on. If the battery is in, it's on. On off toggle switch does nothing. Ideas?

    Got it figured out. I finally found some time to take the thing apart. Didnt take long and i found that the switch is just a bit "mushy". It works though. Put it back together and got it to work with a pencil eraser pushing extra firm
