Default CB AMP For Ham Radio Use?

Hey all, i just recently received a "Palomar TX 100 Golden" cb amp. i was wondering if it was possible to use a CB amp for a Ham. I have a yaesu ft 7900 and im just wondering if i can just wire em up and get it to boost out some extra wattage or if it would completly not work at all or even damage my radio. any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

PLEASE don't even think of it. The Yaesu is a VHF/UHF transceiver; the other thing is an HF amplifier/splatter generator.

The Yaesu has plenty of output for most mobile applications and with a good antenna at home, it will work fine there, both simplex and through repeaters.

Not wanting to be funny but isn't this something that's really very obvious and quite basic? The frequency range on the Palamer is 3-30MHz so there's no way it'll cover 144/430MHz.

A quick google produced this result. I'm not sure this is an amplifier I'd want to use anywhere.

I wouldn't bet on the 3-30 MHz capability of any CB amplifier. They're mostly all junk at 27 MHz.
