I am new to the forum and figured The Junk Box would be the best place to post this.

I am looking for someone that is up to the challenge to assist me in making radio contact with a shipping vessel that is currently in the East China Sea near Shanghai to get an urgent message to a member of the crew. This ship does have an Inmarsat-C station that appears to be down as all of our telex cables are not making a connection.

I know absolutely nothing about Ham radio or if this is possible and could really use the assist. Please email me at the address below if you can lend a hand or please post any suggestions here. I will keep check.
