    Default Adonis microphones

Its a bit of a long shot but I see one of the ham retailers selling a Adonis AM-308GMB microphone for just under £100. I don’t know if this is also sold under a different name anywhere but does anyone know if its any good? I know I’ll have to get a converter lead for my 857d but I’m thinking it might make a Christmas present if push comes to shove.

    thanks

I am using the AM-308 on my FT857d and with 10 watts get reports of 5 every time even as low as 54, 53 etc.
Can't find GMB on mine anywhere but mine is not new!
And lead from ML&S via mail order no problem.
    Hope this helps.

Here you go: The Adonis D-8MY is the microphone lead wired from 8-pin to RJ-45 large Yaesu modular.

That's the one you need, seems most radio shops stock them so no problem!
