Hi...I work at a cancer research laboratory and my project focuses mainly on the use of radiofrequency in our hyperthermia studies. Basically, we use radiofrequency to heat up cancer/tumor cells since they are more sensitive to heat than normal tissues.

We currently operate using a crystal that is at a fixed frequency of 13.5 MHz and would like to start experimenting with different frequencies in our studies. So we eventually purchased a used HP/Agilent 8656 A, but we aren't seeing any power come out of it. The company/rep says that it is a working unit, but aren't seeing any signal when testing at 13.5 MHz.

I am not sure what I should do right now...need some major help in operating this unit!
