Back in '78, I answered a CQ requesting a stateside phone-patch. I did the patch with SanFrancisco, shot off a QSL and rec'd the one below in return.

Months later, the TV was filled with news of a Kool-Aid mass suicide in South America. Something rang a bell and I quickly searched my file of cards and... golly... there it was!





I wonder how many others of these are out there!
