Default Ham radio Forum need Collins Radio ID (military?)

I bought this collins (?) radio at an estate , it looks like a 51J but has no ID tags, there is a 6709 stamp where the
tag should be , I intend to list for sale on ebay in a few days but need more info , would it be common to be stamped
    with no ID plate?

That is the bad thing about people who goes to auctions to make a quick buck.
It takes away from the real amateur radio people who could have benefited from it.
Most times you will not get any help from real amateur radio people, because real hams doesn't like profiteers.
