Thread: Downtime during the last 2 days

Default Downtime during the last 2 days

Just a quick note to say we've been having lots of issues with the server over the last couple of days, this is due to over heating issues at the data centre causing all the servers to be switched off a couple of times for safety.

We're told they've sorted the aircon issue at the data centre so hopefully things will return to normal, didn't help that them pinging the power on the server upset things and PHP decided to delete itself causing a rather late night for me fixing it!

I only found the site missing once, but was repeatedly getting messages that the site was overloaded and to try later. Good to hear it's fixed now.

Bad imho too and I've been on there case about it from there start, hopefully they'll give us lots of service credits for the hassle too.. and even better buy better air-con units

Are you ***sure*** it's not in your bedroom?

Haha, Nope. It's on VPS.net. They're were a lot better when smaller, but like Dreamhost, they grew quick & started loosing the plot.

Hopefully we are going to have more problems, but we might still move hosts to one we know to be slower at growing and more stable.

We'll of course keep you updated if we do decide to move.
