    Default A Power Supply Question

Question for the Elmer's out there. I got my Alinco DM-330mv Power supply today. I connected the 2m/440 mobile to the back output rated at a max 32a and set the unit to 13.8v and fired it up, all well. Now according to HRO and the reviews no problem running that rig and my Yaesu FT-950 Base rig off the same power suppl...y my question is connection. If I hook it to the same two terminals in the back where the mobile rig is plugged in, if this is just bare wire connections will i have a problem. Question #2 doesthe adjustable voltage still stay at 13.8 or am I bumping this up?

32A should be enough for two radios (one receiving while the other transmits). You'll probably only have any trouble if they both transmit at once...

Most mobile sets are designed for a nominal 12V, 13.8 gives a little extra power, going above 15V is asking for trouble (discrete components are usually rated 16V)...

I use power supply 2 A MAX to charge deep cycle wet lead battery, and run all of my radio from it, the battery has a lot of current capability. and 2A power supply was found as junk some where. it is one of the cheapest way and it will give back up power also. draw back is I have to add distilled water every 3 months or so.
