    Default TS530S - Cannot adjust bias at all

    I just bought this radio on Ebay. First thing I normally do is make sure the bias is at 60mA. When adjusting the bias setting I cannot get the meter needle to move. I am following the procedure to a tee and have done many times before. I even changed all tubes to see if that would work but that did notheing. Any ideas??

    Forgive me if I am teaching "grandma to suck eggs", but have you got the metre reading IP (current) and press the mike switch; or if you using TUNE then switch from TUNE to LSB or USB and check the meter.
