Hi friend i have interest for this radio is exist yet please sent more photos. my e-mail is: zitazaf@gmail.com
Hi, as per my introduction I have moved from a prime rural Northumberland hill top location into the town down in the valley and have found that I cant use some of my equipment due to space (the XYL) and antenna restrictions so its going up for sale.
Kenwood TS 140s with new MC-43s microphone, it is clean and in good condition for age with a couple of very minor bumps and scratches, this transciever came to me from a silent key friend and spent between 10 and 12 years of its life on a shelf as a SW receiver without a mic ever being plugged in, in fact the previous owner did not even have a mic to fit so the finals are as good as new, I only purchased the MC-43s early last year.
It covers all HF bands as when I had it checked prior to passing the Foundation exam and when purchasing the mic I had the wideband mod done this means it can also be used on 11mts unfortuantly, I was told this is easily reversed as it is just the case of resoldering 1 leg of a diode.
It all works as it should and I have a printout of the user manual, perfect as a first foundation HF set as the power reduces down to less than 10w.
It is only the transceiver itself and not the full line-up with matching psu and speaker, I used it with a Watson 22amp switch mode psu and it easily delivered the full 100w SSB into a borowed MFJ dummy load.
I will take some good pictures soon and load them up so if anybody is interested please let me know.
Ģ220.00 plus postage but collection and try before buy prefered.
Location Hexham Northumberland
Have other old (working) things to sort and list when unpacked like 1970s Valve linears, vertical antennas VHF/UHF and 10/11mt, 10m SSB (CB Radio) transceivers, so if your looking for something along those lines please drop me a line.
Need to fund one HF/VHF/UHF DSP Transceiver as the noise down in the town is nasty.
