    Default DJ-C7 & DJ-S45 Transceivers

    Hi,

I just bought the DJ-C7 & DJ-S45 transceivers for a CubeSat project. For my project, the DJ-C7 is to receive data signals transmitted from the DJ-S45. So I just wanna ask how to connect the DJ-C7 to a oscilloscope cause there is two connection for the speaker? And the other question is how to connect the DJ-S45 to the function generator cause for the microphone input there is an outer circular connection and a inner circular connection, I am not sure which is meant for the signal and which is for the ground? Thanks alot.

    Regards,
    Justin

Only one of those two sockets is for output (speaker), the other is an input (microphone).
You can connect the speaker to a 'scope/decoder, but getting the right level/volume setting is tricky.

I would suggest this http://www.qsl.net/5b4ajb/lineout.zip, but it probably won't be any use on a handheld.

Look in the manual, or experiment to find the connections, I think the tip is used to provide a Voltage for condenser type microphone inserts.
