    Default Heil Proset Plus

    Has anyone used a Heil Proset Plus ? I'm considering ordering one. Just wanted to know if you like it.

    I have the Proset Plus iC and it works incredibly well with my IC-7000. Comfortable, almost-too-good sound isolation, and good audio reports.

    You can get ex-military helicopter headsets for $1 at hamfests
    Pretty good at sound isolation! sounds OK on the radio after changing the cable & mic insert for a decent cardioid type.

    I've heard lots of Heil mic's over the air and they do sound rather good...
