Sick of being ignorant!
I am a 59 YO non-technical General, envious and frustrated when you electronic types talk dirty (electronic talk) and I can't really follow much of it. I have been fascinated with 'Reflections' by Walter Maxwell even though I don't understand it all. Any suggestions as to how to educate myself from zero? OL studies, ARRL publications, etc.? Couple of strokes in 02 but I think my memory is still mostly good.

Have a play with this:- http://www.falstad.com/circuit/
It's a pretty good visual tool for the fundamentals.
Any number of tutorials can be found on the web, depending what you are after.
If you want a printed (book) tutorial, the major Amateur organisations (ARRL, RSGB etc.) have exellent material available...
