Hello, I am a new Ham (just a week ago) looking for some decent but affordable equipment. I would like to get on 6 meters, and understand that the FT-625RD is a very good radio for beginners. It would be a bit high in cost for me, but I think that I might be able to manage it in a couple of weeks of budgeting.

From the quoted price, I see you are most likely located in the UK. I am in the USA - in Nevada. So, I have the following questions for you:
1. Does this radio operate off mains? If so, what voltage, and is it convertible to 120V 60HZ?
2. Will you ship to the USA?
3. How would you prefer payment?

I would also like more information on the condition, etc., before making a decision on a purchase.

Hi Jon,
No I am in Mexico and moving back to Canada so would like to unload my gear before I go.
Radio is in excellent condition for its age and has a full 30 watts out on all modes except on AM which is 10 watts. Sorry for the delay in getting back to you but I have been going back and forth from Canada and Mexico for the last few weeks.For me to ship from here is $80...so radio plus manual,microphone and AC cables it would be $360 by paypal.
