I'm using an IC-17 interface between my ProIII and IC-PW1 amp (as well as my computer).

Even without the serial port attached, lately changing bands on the radio can take up to 10 seconds to change the band on the PW1. This just started happening as it used to be almost immediate. I don't know what I might have changed to make the difference.

Any suggestions?
