My first kit.....

Well....my first kit in about 25 years. I assembled many kits in high school, even etched boards etc. Ordered this QRP Wattmeter. We'll see how it goes getting it together in the next few weeks.

Looks good, I'm the same as you in that I built loads of kits in my youth but haven't done anything for ages.

I quite fancy the Brendon Phone TCVR kit from Tim Walford. The only problem is that I don't have any HF aerials or really any interest in HF. I just feel like building something

So far so good. Worked about an hour on it this afternoon. While waiting for my wife to get ready for afternoon Mass I wound the toroids. This is really cool and fun stuff.
