Memory problem...
I've got a pair of Alinco DR-600T mobiles that I haven't used for years. I installed them in two separate vehicles the other day and I've got a problem. Everything works except the memory. Car to car commo on simplex works fine, I'm hitting the local repeaters OK, but the memory channels don't hold; they're good for a day or so, then... gone. My gut tells me this is not good news. Anybody got a good tip on how to deal with this, or am I looking at a couple of paperweights?

It's probably the internal button cell gone flat if they're more than about 5 years old...
Found another reference for the same problem here:-
http://www.radiobanter.com/showthread.php?t=15988
Looking through the service manual available here:-
http://www.alinco.com/pdf.files/
It shows a CR-2032 Lithium cell somewhere (P.C. battery)
Good Luck!
