Hi is anyone using a Compaq net-book for logging and data modes?

I'm not aware of anyone.. personally I'd find them a bit awkward with the small screens and keyboard

I've seen some Twitter discussions around the use of netbooks (not specific to Compaq) and portable PSK/RTTY ops and such. Like Peter, I think the smaller size would deter me. I like having some horsepower under the hood and the weight of a larger laptop doesn't bother me.

The keyboard is the only thing I don't like but it is the same with me other laptop, no numeric keypad. Not sure if I will even use it for data. Use to use paket on a commodore 64 then went to an amstrad ppc512. Tried RTTY on the C64 but not much good but a friend of mine did well on a Dragon 32. The main laptop has the power but not sure I need it.
