Assistance choosing a mobile VHF/UHF antenna for my Mag Mount

I have an old Larsen NMO Magnet Mount but I need a new antenna element for it. I was going to replace the antenna with the same Larsen NMO27C (dual band 2m/70cm) antenna that I used to have, but as I researched other antenna's I'm wondering if I might could get more gain for the buck. I am most impressed with the specs of the Comet SBB-7NMO antenna (you can see it toward the bottom of this web page).

However, I'm not sure whether or not the SBB-7NMO would be appropriate for a Magnet Mount - it looks more rigid and less whip-like. I do like the fold-over capability of the Comet antennas (especially if I later decide to use a more permanent mount in the future), but just don't want to make a mistake by purchasing the wrong antenna for this magnet mount.

Any thoughts?
