Thread: Homebrew Amp

    Default Homebrew Amp

I have a homebrew amp I bought and it works great except that as I transmit after about 30 seconds the swr climbs off the chart. I have been through this amp from one end to the other and all seems well. Could a parasitic suppressor be my culprit. Another person said that I could have a bad balun on my antenna, but I have never herd of such a thing. Anybody got any suggestions.

You may want to let us know what kind of an antenna and Balun that you are using? How much RF Power Output does your homebrew RF amplifier produce in Watts?
