Jingtong jt-208 interface

can anyone please tell me how to make a simple interface to sending APRS with radiostation jt-208.
I saw that the PTT and mic is in the same pin and is very difficult to make simple interface, that works

The mic connector is probably a stereo 2.5mm plug.
A bit fiddly, I've melted a few of these in the past, buy a few

Make up a lead with the three wires, test by shorting to find out which one is the PTT and which is the mic signal input.

Build a PTT interface if you havn't already done so:-


I do not use an isolating transformer between my soundcard and radio, I have no problems, some people do, & have to use one.
They're just a 1:1 transformer (I think they are the little red ones about 20mm square).
