The frequency is controlled by IC2, a programmable PLL Frequency Synthesizer (http://www.radiomods.co.nz/integratedci ... c9106.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false. I guess you could map the input levels compared to the channel number. Then knock up some sort of board that switches in when TXing, and sends the required code to the PLL.
I once did a similar hack to a marine VHF radio, so that it could get CH0.
