Default Kenwood TS-930S - Replacing finals

    Hi all,
The final transistors (MRF422) in my TS-930S need to be replaced.
I am looking for help from anyone who has done this.
I have already replaced the power supply transistors.
The service manual does not show an exploded view of the PA module. I have not been able to find details of how to remove the module to work on it. The crammed assembly makes it difficult. Any guidance is greatly appreciated. I have not been able to find any document describing the dis-assembly.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hello Vasanc,

Are you absolutely sure those MRF-422 RF Final Transistors are Defective? I've spent a lot of my own time researching these devices and generally these RF transistors are always found to be in good shape even after being surged. Normally the MRF-485 transistors blow due to a poor engineering design. I'm providing a link and the scroll down perhaps half of the link page and read the articke:

This may provide the insight that you've been looking for on the TS-930 transceiver.
