They're usually the default 9600,8,n,1 to begin with, try going through the radios menus to see if you can find out the settings...
I have an IC 735. I'm trying to set it up for remote control. I purchased a CI-V (serial DB-9 to mini pin) cable. I can't seem to get it to work. In order to test it I have tried to read the data coming out of the radio with just a basic terminal program. Can anyone tell me the baud rate, bit count, parity and handshaking that it operates on?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
Jim
