    Default TS 430s power input

Hello I was given a TS 430s with no power cord. Does anyone have any information pertaining to the six pin connector on the back of this unit? Draw me a diagram?

You can try the following Kenwood Parts link:

    http://www.kenwoodparts.com/parts/search.php

The DC Power Cord Assembly PG-2S covers a multitude of Kenwood Amateur Radio Transceuvers. It seems that the TS-430S can draw up to 20 Amperes at +13.8VDC on SSB Voice Peaks.

When you get a radio, the first thing you should look for is the manual. You can find the manual for the 430S several places on the Internet (like rigpix.com). That has ALL the information about the radio you will ever need. Download it to your hard drive; print it out if you have a good ink supply in your printer. It's the most valuable "accessory" there is.
