I'm here in Nashville, TN and the repeater that's closest to me is crosspatched. I know that means that I can hear 150 MHz talk on 440 MHz and vice versa. My problem is this: I have a motorola radius CM200 that is currently transmitting in 440 MHz and an Icom HT-47 that is dual band. if I spend the $35 at the local radio shop to reprogram the CM200 for the 440 MHz ham freq, will i be able to communicate with other hams in the 140 MHz and them communicate with me? I know that when I key up my HT in 140 MHZ I can see the 440 MHz key up as well. Thanks for any help to clear the mud. :?:
