DC blocking cap
Hi all,
I want to know if mica capacitors work well for dc blocking capacitor in an hf linear?
Thanks,
Nick

Re: DC blocking cap
Yes, they should be OK, check they can handle the voltage before you fit them.
You could always parallel some together to make up the value (and increase the voltage handling).
Capacitance in parallel is added together like resistors in series (like you didn't know that!)

Next time, I'll read the subject a bit closer.
Did you mean a DC blocking diode?
