I have finally decided to go down the road of installing Linux on my old Laptop. It's a Sony Vaio QR10 (Intel Celeron 650Mhz. 192Mb RAM, 10Gb HD).

So any ideas of logging software I can run under Ubuntu 8.04???

Or any other Ham Radio related software available???

For logging I'd say check out YFKLog non GUI just works in text mode written in Perl and uses MySQL as the database can't go wrong!
