Couple of plugins I have installed recently. In some ways they are similar, but I will leave you to decide which to try, or do what I did and install both, but hide until needed.

HamInfoBar has been designed with the ham radio operator in mind. HamInfoBar provides the latest DX news, articles, cluster spots, propagation report and access to ITU and other ham essential maps.

Some of its many features are a Google powered search box plus ham radio specific search engines, SWL information, RSS reader from top ham radio sites, ham community news and general information, podcasts containing ham radio audio news and broadcast radio, manufacturer links, list of national radio societies Web sites, in depth maps, beacons, PC tools and an email notifier

HamLinks is a free ham radio toolbar that extends your (Internet Explorer or Firefox) web browser to give ham radio operators quick access to great ham radio content. It's completely free, easy to install (and uninstall) and can be configured by the user.

I have using Propfire for a while and now I installed Toolbar but these two don't match together so I have to deactive propfire
Firefox crashed

but now everything runs

You are right - there is a glitch when Propfire and HamLinks Ham Radio Toolbarare used at the same time. I think something changed at the NOAA source site for the propagation data (which creates some GIF file that hoses up Propfire). Anyway, the propagation data is shown on HamLinks, so I'm glad that you've been able to use that.

I'll look for a way to correct the issue in HamLinks.

Hi, I've been a SWL for a long while now, and have tried both these toolbars out, and find them really good. But for me, haminfobar has definitely got the edge because it's got loads more info that's relevant for SWLs. I'm sure I'll find it even more helpful when I've got my license. Well done, keep up the good work!!

The N0HR toolbar is pretty neat! I just downloaded it a few hours ago and still "playing" to see what all it will do.
Thanks Pat for the hard work in developing this! So far a couple of things I'd have like to have seen done differently but I'm still playing and not sure about that yet!
