    It's been wierd for me. On Monday, 20M was PACKED. I counted over 50 CW transmissions at once, and half a dozen SSB. Hawaii and Alaska (and of course CA!) were coming in like gangbusters. Then last night: nothing. Not a peep, not even CW. I thought my rig was broken, but WWV came in.

    Course all this is monitor-only: I have yet to make a contact on HF.

    FINALLY got a contact, and it was from Russia on 20M. I've noticed the traffic is high only for about 3 hrs after sunset (5-8pm local time). After that it quiet downs to nothing. I don't know if it's a propagation thing or if everybody out east has gone to bed.
