Hello and thanks.
I have a kenwood rz-1. I also know very little about electronics.
Problem is the display is dead.
i have opened it up and there seems to be 3 small bulbs (tiny) inserted in the circuit board behind the display.
There are also two bulbs on the front of the circuit board, I assume it they lit up they would backlight switches/dials.
My question is.
If all the bulbs on the front circuit board (apart from a big one behind the volume knob) do not light up, and I get sound from the radio, does this indicate a problem other than just needing to change bulbs. ie It was supposed to be working fine when I got it.
I have tried the reset key combination.
Would a flat internal battery cause this to happen?
Appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks
