Hi All,

I am currently writing an application for Mac OS X. The application is basically a Logger. The operator has the option of displaying in the GUI local or GMT time.

Would there be any benifit in saving to the database the timestamp in either local or GMT or is it best to stay with just GMT?

GMT, always. Otherwise if you upload your log to [say] LoTW or eQSL, the times won't match.

Logging should always be done in GMT.
